School Requirements

Everything your child needs for a successful term at New Hope Primary School

The pupils are required to come with the necessary school requirements for the new term to aid the smooth running of the pupil’s life throughout their academic progress.

Nursery Section Requirements
  • 2 kgs of sugar
  • 4 rolls of toilet paper (day)
  • 48 paged exercise books (1 dozen)
  • A pocket file (clear bag)
  • Handwriting book for middle and top classes
  • 1 box of crayons
  • A spring file
  • A box of pencils
  • Pencil cutter and rubber
  • 2 reams of Rota trim per child a year
  • A pair of gloves per child a term
  • 1 small tin of Omo per term
  • 2 brooms per child a term
  • 2000/= per child for a plate and cup
    Boarding Section Only – Additional Requirements
  • 1 big tube of toothpaste and a pair of toothbrushes
  • A mosquito net, a mattress, 2 pairs of bed sheets, a blanket and a towel
  • 1 tin of Vaseline (smearing jelly)
  • A torch
  • 3 pieces of bathing soap (medium size)
  • 2 bars of washing soap
  • At least 5 pants in good condition (boys and girls)
  • A basin and 10 liter jerry can
  • A tin of shoe polish and a shoe brush
  • 2 pairs of stockings and a pair of black shoes
  • 4 kgs of sugar per child
  • 8 rolls of toilet paper
  • A mop per child

Shaving fee: Shs. 3,000 to be paid at the Bursar’s office (for boarders only).
