New Hope nursery and primary school started in 2005 as a small institution in the neighborhood of Butambula, Bugiri district now known as one of the best five schools in Bugiri district. It is located in Butambula, Kapyanga, Eastern division in Bugiri municipality.
It started in a small building with few students and staff with a primary motive of according the school teachers and pupils an opportunity to carry out demonstration lessons.
Since its establishment in 2005, New Hope Nursery and Primary School has experienced remarkable growth and expansion, transforming from a small institution into one of the most respected primary schools in Bugiri District.
